Tunkhannock Area High School Music Department 120 West Tioga Street Tunkhannock, PA 18657 (570) 836-8260 Dear Friends, As part of the Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Association (PMEA), the Tunkhannock Area High School Music Department will be hosting Region IV Chorus from March 15-18, 2006. As part of our requirements, we need to find housing for the 162 students attending the festivals from over 60 schools. The students will need to be housed from Wednesday night until Saturday morning and transportation will be required to and from the school, once in the morning and then at night. As you would expect, housing is the largest and most difficult task of the festival. Community members who have hosted for past festivals have enjoyed the students immensely and, in some cases, established friendships that go beyond school activities. Help us make it go as smoothly as possible by contacting relatives to assist us in this worthy endeavor. Please fill out and return the enclosed postcard at your early convenience. Once the postcard is received, more information on housing will be sent to you. Thank you for your efforts in advance. Your help and assistance is truly appreciated.
