GATOR BOWL NEWSLETTER

    There have been a lot of exciting events going including a highly successful Region IV State Chorus Festival.  With all that behind us, it is time to get focused on next year.  We have had a great trip turnout from grades 9-11, but we are still waiting to hear from many of the 8th graders.  With nearly 50 new members, we have only received trip deposits from around 15 of you.  The 2007 Toyota Gator Bowl Performance is truly the trip of a lifetime and WILL NOT BE DONE AGAIN while you are in high school.  So if you are waiting to go another year, it won't happen.  While we will do smaller trips, this one will not occur again.  Next year the marching band will number around 140 musicians!! We have gotten to the point where we have two concert bands, two jazz bands, and a percussion ensemble.  So there is a lot to be excited about.

Fundraising Update:

Many of you earned extra money by working at the Spaghetti and Jazz Dinner as well as the Region Festival. 

The pies and coffee also added over $2000 to the credit tally.

The Jazz Dinner Dance also raiser over $600.

The total earned this month alone was nearly $4000!!!!
